How to create your API user and key in Magento
1. Login to Magento Admin Panel to create your API user and key
2. In the top menu, go to: System > Web Services > SOAP/XML-RPC – Roles
3. Click the Add New Role button (top right)
4. Give the role a name. For example, ‘eSync’
5. Click the Role Resources link in the left menu
6. In the drop list, change the Resource Access option from Custom to All
7. Click the Save Role button (top right)
8. In the top menu, go to: System > Web Services > SOAP/XML-RPC – User
9. Click the Add New User button (top right)
10. Enter your account information for the New User.
For example:
a) Enter a user name (this is the Magento API User for eSync)
b) Enter your first name
c) Enter your last name
d) Enter your email address
e) Enter your API key (this is the Magento API Key for eSync)
f) To confirm your API key re-enter the API key you entered above
11. Click the User Role link in the left menu
12. Select the radio button to assign the role you just create
13. Click the Save User button (top right)
